Service
House Warming provides comparison and analytics content for heat-pump systems and related subsidy programmes across Europe. The site is provided free of charge and on an "as is" basis.
Data accuracy disclaimer
Heat-pump model parameters are sourced from manufacturers via official registries (EPREL, BAFA, MCS); each supplier is solely responsible for the accuracy of their declared figures. Energy prices follow Eurostat publication cadence. Subsidy amounts and eligibility rules are captured on the dates indicated on each programme page; always verify on the official programme site before making a financial decision.
No professional advice
Calculators on this site provide directional estimates based on published parameters. They do not replace professional engineering, legal, tax or financial advice. Heat-pump sizing in particular requires a site survey by a qualified installer.
Open data licence
Public data we publish (country profiles, indices, methodology) is offered under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence — free to redistribute and remix with attribution. Source data licences from Eurostat, NASA POWER, EPREL and national agencies remain with their issuers.
Acceptable use
- You may not abuse the API (bulk scraping, attempting to bypass rate limits) or attempt to disrupt the service.
- You may not impersonate the site or its sources.
- Quote requests submitted in bad faith may be blocked.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, House Warming and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the site or its data.
Independence
We are independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the European Commission, EPREL, EHPA, BAFA, ANAH, or any heat-pump manufacturer or installer.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the European Union with supplementary application of Belgian law.
